Hi Tony,
That sounds fine, probably a good idea about Main Menu, but definitly you
can do blind cool tech if you like.
I would be very interested in knowning how NVDA goes with a shopping sight,
though I fear you may only be able to successfully use some shopping sites
with NVDA in Firefox, since NVDA does not yet support dynamic content by
Javascript in internet explorer.
I will also be attending CSun (thanks to the generocity of the Mozilla
Foundation) so I am hoping that I may also be able to get an interview on
ACB Radio whilst there.
Your format sounds good though so far. I am glad you alre also gong to let
people hear ESpeak, I am not too sure how many people would have heard it
before.
Mick

I was hoping for a sort of a preliminary demo, with perhaps, yourself or
someone else closer to the coding and development helm to actually do an
indepth on it a little later. I would cover basic use of it in internet
explorer; using a simple page like mine for starters; and, then perhaps a
more complex page like a shopping site or something. Then, I thought of
letting it read a simple rtf document while letting them hear the espeak
voice and introducing it also. Actually, the blind cool tech podcast would
probably be more suitable while leaving the main menu for a more expert
view of it as mentioned above. Because I use Freedombox with the underlying
Mozilla component browser, I'm afraid of putting in another Firefox or
Mozilla browser component on this machine as possible conflicts might
ensue. Otherwise, I'd be glad to demonstrate Firefox and not just internet
explorer. Another reason for getting something up on BCT might be a good
idea pretty soon, is the fact that Thunder has already been covered to some
degree this past year. I just read your message so, of course, haven't
written down any specific drafts for you; but, thought of doing the podcast
with no speech loaded; then, invoke NVDA so as to let them hear it loading
up and starting; and get a feel for the user interface navigation window
which comes up upon opening.
I won't do anything until more from you.
Tony
