[nvda] Re: Problems loading sapi5 with to days snapshot of nvda.

Well I still have xp, but the sound is the same chipset as yours I fancy, on board, so I doubt that has much to do with it.

this is not the case. this computer is about 10 days old and the nvda
that I had on it was the only nvda until I uninstalled the old version
and installed the snapshot of yesterday. for the developers I am using
vista home premium and all updates.

The sound card is a real tech audio on board job hth.

Hi all,

it's as the subject says! i can't load sapi 5 using nvda it just says
can't load sapi5 synth, I have uninstalled deleted the configuration
file and reinstalled an older version of nvda and stil now it does not
work.

I can get K1000 working using sapi5 and text aloud works so my sapi is
working.

Can anyone help I can't remember how to send the log file sorry.

This is the furst time I have had a problem using nvda for such a long
time.

I hope we can get this working again.
