[nvda] Re: Nvda auto starting on a usb stick:

Also, sometimes, the first time you run this on a 'new' machine from that startup dialogue, you will also get that security prompt where you simply tab once (I think) to get to the checkbox regarding getting this dialogue box again, hit space to clear it and then use Alt + R to actually run it (which will work anyway without actually unchecking that box).

It won't autostart unless you use a U3 memory stick.

Windows will pop up a message offering a number of options when the
stick is inserted. If the autorun.inf file is correctly populated the
default option (i.e. the one activated by simply pressing return) can
be "Start N.V.D.A."

If you use the U3 mechanism you can have NVDA start up without any
user intervention, but you have to supply some extra configuration
files as well as the autorun.inf file.

Cheers!

Yes nvda can run on a usb stick. I don't know if it will start
automatically. You will have to find a auto run file and put it on the usb
stick then unplug the usb stick from the usb port then Plug the usb stick
back in the usb port on the computer.
