[nvda] Re: Nvda and inline wysiwyg html editors

With WordPress you can switch to a code view (unless they've changed
that). You can then edit the raw HTML for the post in question. I used
to compose my posts in HTML in a text editor and then paste them into
the WordPress code view. So that's one possibility. There are also
extensions which allow you to open any textarea in your chosen editor,
such as It's All Text for Firefox:

Dunno whether it works with NVDA though.

I would caution against WYSIWIG editors because they are an
inappropriate conceptual model for HTML authoring and produce awful
markup, but if you do need an online WYSIWIG editor I might look for a
CMS that uses:

http://xstandard.com/

as screen reader compatibility was one of their design goals. See:
