[nvda] Re: New NVDA web site

Brian, the reason for changing the site name is that it's still under construction. As originally stated the new site will move to the main nvda home page once it's tested and all the content is in place.

If you don't want to use tracnvda.org, then don't worry about it, smiles.

Best,

Erik

You of course understand why people are going to the wrong spelling, its because the two sound exactly the same. Pity you did not find a word that was totally different, like.. um well...

still don't understand why one needed to change such an easy to remember site address in the first place.

Subject: [nvda] Re: New NVDA web site

People are observing that they can't get directly to the new NVDA web site; they instead hit the NV Access web site. I suspect this is because people are not observing the spelling of trac.nvda- project.org; it is trac without a k, as it is the name of the software. Currently, everything.nvda-project.org redirects to the server, but if there is no site set up for that name, it goes to NV Access. I am going to change our domain records today so that misspelt names fail completely.
