Now this is going to depend which way round you want to work. Open Notepad
first then browse across to the file, or in file explorer, one of the
options is open-with, then go through the list for Notepad; you can even
tick "always use this program" for that file type.

Look at the keyboard map files founder under appModules. Open them with
notepad. They are called "_default_desktop.kbd" and "_default_laptop.kbd"

Subject: [nvda] Navigating by object?
Hello everyone. I am currently reading the NVDA user guide to get
familiar with it before I start using it properly. I have noticed that all
the object navigation keys seem to be with the num pad.
I like my keyboard layout as laptop, as I find this a lot easier. I've
also configured NVDA to use the caps lock key. Are there any equivalent
laptop keystrokes for object navigation?
Thanks very much for your help.
From Gary Price.
