[nvda] Re: NVDA portable

I think this is what he means. It will only run if you set it up with an .inf file as was discussed recently, and then only on a machine which is set up to try to run an autorunning file on a ram stick. Most machines seem to give you a menu asking what to do, usually set to the option one last used.

Hi,

To launch NVDA, open the folder you extracted the files too and open
NVDA.exe.

 Subject: [nvda] NVDA portable

 Hi,
I would appreciate it if someone could please e-mail me privately with
instructions on how to run NVDA from a portable drive. I know this topic
has been discussed on this list recently, but unfortunately, I wasn't paying
that much attention. I have downloaded the zip file and opened it to a
directory on my U3 drive. (launch pad removed) However, I'm not sure if
there is a way to start NVDA with a hot key. It's sometimes a little
difficult to make sure you have the right directory and file selected to run
when you don't have a screen-reader guiding you.
 Thanks for any help.
 Erin
