[nvda] Re: NVDA on pen drive?

thanks, I'll take a copy of the autorun.inf, thanks. This bit so far is ok,
but safe removal of the pen drive is my main point of concern; there is a
windows function for it, but how to get at it with speech is my puzzle. I
did just for once, try just pulling the pen out; sometimes Windows will
just say unsafe removal blahblahblah, but on Friday, it did finally do what
they've often promised; it crashed!

Thanks, RobH.

Hi Rob,

All I do is once the auto run file brings up the NVDA, I press enter for
it to start up and then I use it as normal. (I have the autorun.inf
stored in my pen drive's main root directory so I can take it portable).
This file will point towards the NVDA directory on my portable pen drive
so when I plug it into the usb port it will auto run.Once I am finished,
I press Insert + Q (which will close NVDA) and then just remove my usb
pen drive. If you choose to close it, then you will hear the noise close
down. If you want a copy of the autorun file just let us know.

For more information, Insert + N will bring up your NVDA interface. Then
arrow down to help, and then to one called user guide (or whatever
section you need under there).

Hope this helps
Gene
