Just a bit of progress, and while don't think it'd make you terribly
productive, it's a start/good sign (hopefully anyway).
Stay well

Oh wow! Problem is, it's a bit difficult navigating through code this way
surely. I may try this before next week so I may be able to use the
computers in the labs at my university.

Subject: [nvda] NVDA in the text/code/source window/control of VS.Net
While I know in the past, NVDA couldn't really read the contents of that
non-standard text editing control, and while it's not perfect, I see
that you can now use the numpad keys to in fact navigate line by line,
word by word, character by character within the code editor.
You still can't really edit it as such, but it's some progress FWIW,
since it now reads the navigation points to you (hope that makes sense).
Am currently using trunk version .2459 of NVDA as my primary alternative
to Jaws FWIW, and this was tested in VS.Net 2008 full version.
Stay well
