For example foobar. Every time you move to a new play list the window

sent a request to foobar asking this be fixed.
Do you mean when you hit ctrl+tab or the like to move to a different playlist? I don't experience this with NVDA, but I do with JAWS. This is because NVDA does not cache the list information, where JAWS does. It is still a bug in foobar2000; it doesn't send the correct events when the list is changed. It should be noted, however, that the accessibility fixes in foobar2000 are largely due to requests by myself and others. They have certainly taken a while to implement some suggestions and still haven't implemented others, but they definitely do care at least to some degree. The playlist in foobar2000 is a custom control, so the MSAA support had to be implemented especially.
I am still waiting. But
So requesting is grate wonderful and I support it but waiting around and not
having access because we are waiting for thoughs requests to be granted I
just don't see it.
Fair enough. There are some issues that will never get fixed and I agree that we should try to work around those. I'm just saying that there is a tendency to avoid making requests because it "isn't worth it" or is too much bother. I'm not pointing any fingers at anyone in particular. Making such requests can often be time consuming, as one has to provide a lot of debugging information and testing feedback, but it can reap great rewards.
