[nvda] Re: NVDA and .net applications

looks like nvda should go on every programmers system in that case.
I like the progress beeps and also how it handles vb6 installers.

Hi all, just to say once again I'm impressed by what NVDA, even without display hooks etc, can do. The latest example of this is in the way it handles .net applications. Everything such as menus, dialog boxes, etc, seems to work nicely, and shortcuts, where available are announced too! However, there's one case where I seem to be having problems, and that's in the sharp develop IDE. Specifically, the edit control is not speaking, at least with standard cursor keys, but the rest of the app seems to work just fine. I have a feeling though that this would be a simple case of remapping a custom class to a standard edit control. For those interested in having a look, visit http://www.icsharpcode.net/OpenSource/SD/

As a side note, hal/supernova doesn't like .net apps much at all! Once again, nice work

Arthur..
