[nvda] Re: NVDA SAPI4 problems on Vista

yes most likely you will need to download the SAPI 4 runtimes, not too sure if Vista supports it though. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Hrvoje Katić" <hrvojekatic@xxxxxxxxx>

Subject: [nvda] NVDA SAPI4 problems on Vista

Hi

Here is a problem:
Although SAPI4 .py and .pyc driver files are all available in Synth Drivers folder of NVDA, in Synthesizer window it shows me only SAPI5 and Silence. I tryed to change from SAPI5 to 4 in nvda.ini, but with no chance. I even tryed to delete NVDA folder and re-extract an archive, but also nothing changed. Right now I have R599. I installed TruVoice SAPI4 voice, however I can't run it since SAPI4 is not available in Synthesizer dialog, just SAPI5. Is it problem on Vista because it only supports SAPI5 or do I need to manualy install SAPI4 runtime, or what?

Thanks
Hrvoje
