Hello,
Have you had any problems where NVDA will lock up when you first bring
Outlook 2007 up? This is nearly 100% here. It works fine if Outlook is
already running when I bring up NVDA. This is not synthesizer specific.

Hi Mick
Yes it speaks "File File Menu". And when I open it, then it says "new new
menu".

Does it definitly say File File, or does it say File File Menu?
NVDA (I believe) does not speak the description of an object if it
matches
the name, though that code may have been lost at some point :p
I'll make sure its back in there when we merge in the new branch which
unifies roles and states for different accessibility APIs.
If its File File menu, then I'll have to put specific logic to handle MS
Office menu bar items then.

Hi
I'm just going to report another NVDA ishue where it speaks all menu
items in Outlook 2007 twice. For example "file file", "open... open...",
"view view", "reading pain reading pain" etc. I think this is also
problem in other office 2007 applications where menus are used.
Regards
Hrvoje
