[nvda] Re: NVDA 2009.1RC1

what version of ie are you talking about?
or is this true for all of them?

This one is a known problem. Try this, set IE so it uses less processor
time in task manager and when the freeze occurs, bring up task manager
and look at the processor use of Iexplore.exe. It will take up to a
minute to get to the right place due to the way the lock up happens, but
hopefully you will see the process iexplore.exe taking over 90 percent
of processor resources. IE Its in an endless loop.

One way around this problem is to load up Web IE and use that to select
custom and the checkboxes, which will need enter to check them.

This seems to work most of the time, but sometimes you get a crash when
it exits the browser to run the installers.
My guess is that the nvda command here is perpetuatied and eventually
builds up to a huge buffer of check unchecks and ie cannot cope any more.

Dear Developers!

I have updated to rc1 as well, and I noticed a small bug:
If you wants to go to windows update, pressing customize button, go to
the updates, software, hardware, etct.
You wants to select updates with the checkboxes, nvda freezes, and do
not want to check the box.
With JFW it goes, but NVDA not.
It is from old nvda-s as well.
Can you figure it out, why it is?
Blessings!
Lali
