[nvda] Re: NVDA 1700 Trunk

Hey guys,
Skype are giving contact's nick as a name of the item and contact's nick followed by the skype name as a description. So what we are doing is ignoring the name and using the description instead of it. With the latest version of skype it no longer works because they have changed their window class names. I have got a quick fix here which I will commit in a few hours. I am just letting you know what is skype giving to us.

FWIW, when arrowing up and down the contact list using Jaws it also sort
of first reads the basic information, and then re-reads that, followed
by one or two other things like the current time for that contact etc.,
so my guess would be that Skype itsself is in fact updating the info or
something.

Stay well

This actually has been the case in older versions of NVDA, but I have no
clue why it does that other than perhaps something in Skype itself or
something.

I use NVDA 1700 trunk version. When I arrowing the skype contact list,
NVDA will read twice the contact name.
