[nvda] Re: MSAA update

You can see all updates by doing the following:
In Add/Remove programs, tab or shift tab until you get to a checkbox that says something like show updates. Check it with the space bar to see updates. Then tab back, it's closer, to the list of programs. After the programs is a list of all updates. As I recall, the newest ones are at the bottom of the list. Move to the bottom of the list and read the current line to make sure the last one is read. Then start up arrowing. Even though you can't use first letter navigation in Add/Remove programs, you can hold the down arrow key to quickly move to the end of the list. Holding it causes the key stroke to be repeated so as you hold it, you will quickly move down the list. You won't have speech so you'll have to check to see where you are now and then by releasing the key andi if your current position isn't read, use read current line.

Well I have all updates and sp 3, so I'd imagine its already been installed somehow. Is there a way to check this in any way I wonder?

A Google search for this update indicates there are two versions, one for
Vista, one for other operating systems. The one for Vista is only for 64
bit versions of Vista. Make sure you read the details for the update or
check the details. And the update that is not for Vista only lists XP
Service Pack 3 as the supported version of XP. That may be the reason
people aren't seeing the update as being offered to them. If you aren't
running Service Pack 3, I would expect you won't see it listed when you use
the updates site because your version of XP isn't supported.
