[nvda] Re: Latest build of espeak from Peter.

Hi,

It is this sonic that sounds bad.
Maybe some users want this but if it goes into nvda I would like to see some option not to use this sonic as it just garbles speech.
As I said maybe some users may want this for faster speeds I would like faster speeds my self but not at the cost of garbled speech.
I would like to thank you for the work you do on espeak I use it all the time but I don't like this latest dll version if it is going into nvda as it is.

Please confirm that you mean:
"eSpeak version 1.45 sounds worse at 100% speed than eSpeak 1.44".

In eSpeak version 1.45, I made a change which affects how it speaks at
very fat speeds.  If this is bad, then I'll change it back to how it
was in eSpeak version 1.44.

Please confirm this.

The change in version 1.45 is that above a speed of 400 wpm, it uses a
program called "sonic".  This takes speech output from eSpeak at a
slower rate and speeds it up by processing the sound data.

What eSpeak wpm rate does "100%" correspond to?
