Well, the last time I tried to install Open orifice, I could not get beyond
the license screen, and it used to be that to turn access on, you had to
access an inaccessible check box.
As for nvda. It seems to cope with normal stuff with the bridge loaded.

What's wrong with the installer now?
Don't know about Window Eyes as I do not have it here.
Window-Eyes doesn't support Java applications. I believe there's an effort
to create WE4Java, a script for Window-Eyes to use Java applications
without the Java Access Bridge.
http://dscriptv.com/2008/11/27/its-almost-test-time/
has some details of this effort; it doesn't seem to have a homepage as
yet. There's some discussion of releasing WE4Java as open source. It's
possible that NVDA might be able to copy some of its methodology to
improve Java access in NVDA too.
