I agree. Older snapshots can now be deleted, so we can get new snapshots
like R8XX or R9XX etc. in other words, newer than actual version 0.5.

Thanks.
Seems fine now.
Maybe the 'development snapshots' page should just be taken off-line for
now
or something...?

p.s. download NVDA 0.5 from
http://www.nvda-project.org/download.html

hi,
please download NVDA from the main page, not from the snapshots page.
hi Mick and Jamie, perhaps the snapshots page should temporary disable
it,
this is to prevent confusion to some of the user.

Subject: [nvda] Is the NVDA virus issue really sorted?
I just downloaded nvda-release0.5_snapshot_r769.zip from the development
snapshots page, made sure that my copy of AVG Free was fully updated,
extracted the files, and immediately got a warning, ignored it, and went
into the folder, and scanned nvda.exe again, and was told that it
contains
the trojan tsw.generic4, which, if you search their online virus database
is
not found, but anyway...
Just wanted to know if I can really tell AVG to ignore this 'threat',
since
I was under the impression that you guys had in fact recompiled the apps
'without' this 'content'?
Thanks in advance
Jacob Kruger
