[nvda] Re: Installing open office and getting it to work with no assistance.

I have not tried it for some time and gave up before, but I've heard tell of a registry hack is that correct? I'd have thought it would be trivial for tose responsible wor Open Orifice to make a little stand alone bit of software that sets the acces flag in whatever file holds the settings and then it would work the first time you ran it.

Vince

Thank you for the instructions. I ran "Java2sdk1_4_1_07
"; which installed fine. I then ran "Access Bridge 2_0_1"; which
installed fine. I installed " Open Office 3_x"; which installed fine. I
ran the Open Office Writter, did ALT -T, typed "O" and down arrowed 10
times. I then pressed ALT - A and after pressing Enter, I got:

No Java Access Bridge
OpenOffice.org 3.0 requires a Java Access Bridge 1.0.3 or later version to
support accessibility.
OK

Huh!? I just installed Access Bridge 2_0_1.
