hi,
To answer your question I am subscribed to the developers email list. It sends
out an alert when a commit is made.
Though you may have to wait until it is posted to the snapshots to get it
unless you run from source. If you want to run from source check the main nvda
website and look under the documentation section, it will tell you what you
need to know.
