[nvda] Re: Hello

Ah, that worked, so I'll send one reply and then sit and watch others.
I'm in the uk, registered blind. I'm no programmer, but have a knack of finding buglets. Must be my QA routes from when I worked. I'm 57 and think this project is great, especially for giving people a taste for what a screenreader can do, and its really the only way I've found to use Firefox so far.
Which leads me to a possible bug when used with that IE program. I was browsing our uk Channel 5 listings and IE though it displays them, seems not to send them to nvda. You just get the main links and adverts. However, nvda on Firefox on the same page works. I've not done any exhaustive tests, but if anyone can confirm I'm not going balmy, feel free.
Might I also make a suggestion that the list, this list, adds a bit to the welcome file explaining the posting address?
Erm, what else, ah yes. I assume that long web pages seeming to lock the system up for long periods is due to the time it takes to get the info to nvda, as most commercial readers seem to be faster in this respect. I I suppose nvda needs the full page before it lets the user start to cursor about. Of course IE is slower, but even Firefox can take a while.
Incidentally, on the latest build on the site, it seems that their beeps on progress bars are more numerous and louder.
I'm still trying to figure out how the bug fixing features tracking works. Should I be able to find some easy to browse list of these?
