[nvda] Free NAS and Amplified Bible Programs

Hi,

I just discovered that the publisher of the New American Standard Version and the Amplified Bible provides free simple Bible reading and search software for both versions for free.

The program requires VB 6 libraries to be installed so I take it it is programmed in this. Menus and comboboxes read as far as I could tell but the main Bible text edit widnow does not.

Also, when doing the word search, the search result list cannot be tabbed to though I hthink it can be gotten into with object navigation . (I am waek on that though). Here, like in the BBible text window, nvda does not read.

The program can be downloaded for free from

http://www.lockman.org/download/

though registration with an email address is required before download.

Can NVDA be made to understand the Bible Edit widnow? Seeing that the NASB is a rather popular translation, it would be great if this rree program for it did read with nvda.

It would be so helpful to be able to reclass widnows in nvda.

Thanks much.

Doris
