[nvda] Re: Firefox crashes

I have not had it on start up, at least not so far. My Firefox has the accessible search as the home page, so it may be something that is in page content that does it, or more to the point, some content that may or may not be there, like an animation or something like that. The last two times on two different machines, one was on one of those ' the download will start shortly, if not click here, and it started to count, 1 2 3 etc, on 5 it fell over. The oother was a link out of a google search, the second time I did it it worked on the same machine, but there was a note on the page suggesting I was not using an up to date version of Flash, which I was as far as I know.

Of course, you are never noting the actual page as you do not expect it to occur. Thus, it could well be that as some pages do, a redirect for an ad occurred that did it.

Has anyone else noticed that version 3.04 is crashing a lot in the last few days. I have found it occuring on several machines where it seems to happen as it goes for a page or download. I am not sure whether its nvda or the new Java update which I downloaded though, this is the problem.

Its a total crash where you are invited to send a report.

As I say, its not tied to one machine so I think its a real problem.

Does the crash happen when you start firefox? If so I have only experienced this on two machines and am trying to fix it my self.
