Hi,
Please try snapshots from r2622 onwards as I think I may have fixed the
create shortcuts issue. Now if that checkbox is unchecked, no start menu
or desktop shortcuts will be created. Previously the desktop shortcut
was not controled by this checkbox.

Well unless the state of the checkbox is somehow being misreported its
true as its happened on more than one machine.

Hi,
This is definitly a bug with the installer if its true. I will
investigate further.
Thanks

Can someone clear up this for me. When installing, it says do not
create shortcuts. I'd always taken this to mean that any existing ones
would be left alone, but it seems this is not the case. Due to already
having an right hand alt/n shortcut, I alter the shortcut to a.
However even with the do not create shortcuts checked in the
installer, it still replaces the desktop shortcut with one having n as
the shortcut.
Is this expected?
