hi,
I think the reason we have to press insert plus b is because some of those
windows don't use the same interface that NVDA uses. Someone correct me if I'm
wrong, but I think thats why some windows have to be read like that. I hope I
answered this correctly.> From: vigmo1@xxxxxxxxx> To: nvda@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

I am currently using NVDA Snapshot 1638 on Windows Vista Home Premium. When I
was trying to view some attachments in a Windows Mail email I got "Save
Attachments (Not Responding)". I thought it was a crupted OpenOffice 2.3. So, I
uninstalled the Access Bridge, the JAVA it wanted and OpenOffice 2.3. I then
tried saving the attachments to a directory. Soon after hitting save, I got
"Save Attachments (Not Responding)". NVDA totally froze, however, JAWS read the
error window and the dialog box after pressing ALTT + Space + C. Why the NVDA
freezeing? And why do we need to press Insert + B everytime a popup window
appears?> > Angus MacKinnon> Infoforce Services>
