I would suggest using the installer for the version that you are most
likely to use and use the portable version for whatever other version or
versions you want to play with. You can have as many portable versions on
your system as you like. They do not conflict with each other. With the
installed version, I am not sure if the latest ones do add anything to the
registry that might conflict across different versions.
as to the problems you are cncountering, I do not have any suggestions as
I have not seen that kind of problem.

Hi,
Greetings!
I have just downloaded the NVDA 2009.1 RC installer and the 3354 Snapshot
installer versions.
And installed the 2009.1 under the NVDA folder in Program files,
and installed the Snapshot under a new folder as NVDAS in Program files.
But, I find when I try to navigate in a web page, it does not read
through the curssor.
Only could move through the NP(number pad) navigation keys.
Could this be because of the two installation of NVDA?
Or is there any settings to be modified in the NVDA menu?
and if I need to have both versions, how can it be done please?
Appreciate any help please.
Have a pleasant day!
Regards,
Ravi. ,
