Kno.  In Jaws, it will happen if you use the scripts.  But if you not use the 
skype scripts like me, it very normal.  It only read 
one time the contact name.

    I not use any jaws scripts for skype because it's now, very accesible with 
out scripts.

FWIW, when arrowing up and down the contact list using Jaws it also sort of
first reads the basic information, and then re-reads that, followed by one
or two other things like the current time for that contact etc., so my guess
would be that Skype itsself is in fact updating the info or something.
