[nvda] Re: BRLTTY and NVDA

Hi.
I'm attempting to get a brailliant32 and a PACMate 40 to work with this. I installed brltty, lybusb win32 filter. I didn't know what to do after that so just played around, I didn't get verry far. I even found the brlapi installer inside the brltty program files folder and installed it. How should I go about getting these two USB displays to work? I would get more specific about what I tried, but that would take a long time. I did try to run install.bat. It raised a window for about 30 seconds and then put me back in the windows explorer folder view list view thing. The display is detected by lybusb's test thing, useing object navigation I was able to find where the humanware brailliant32 is on one of the USB bus things. ----- Original Message ----- From: "James Teh" <jamie@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Subject: [nvda] BRLTTY and NVDA

Hi all,

As of r2455, the required files should be included in binary snapshots to allow NVDA to work with BRLTTY.

Note that you still need to install BRLTTY. I've created an experimental installer for this:
http://www.nvda-project.org/brltty/brltty_3.10-2_setup.exe
If you have a USB display, you will also need to install the libusb-win32 filter, which you can find somewhere on:
http://libusb-win32.sourceforge.net/
I recommend installing this *before* installing BRLTTY.
