[nvda] Re: Audacity on a stick and recording.

Hello,
You don't need specially modified version of Audacity. Audacity is portable out of the box. Just unzip it into a folder on your pen drive, create a folder called Portable Settings inside it and you should be set to use the same version as you are used to. Just to clarify it folder named Portable Settings should be in Audacity install folder (where the audacity.exe is).

Hi all,

I went to portable apps and downloaded audacity portable and I can't get
it to record using Nvda or Jfw 10 does anyone have another program that
I can record notes from a usb pen?

Or does anyone have a better version of portable audacity?

It's a great shame that this does not work out of the box with nvda!!

I don't think it's the fault of Nvda but the fault of the developer I
have the latest beta of audacity on my PC and the record works a treat.

Any feedback would be gratefully received.
Kevin Cussick.
