I haven't heard this before and don't quite know what to make of if. But if
track recordes are anything to go by, I wouldn't get too excited - IBM and
OpenOffice have paid some lip-service to accessibility, and haven't
delivered on a lot of promises they've made, and Lotus, in my experience
have made no attempts at accessibility whatsoever.
If they all emerge from this strange consortium with the most accessible
office suite known to man, then I'll take it all back. Until then, I suppose
we're guessing.
Vince.

Subject: [nvda] Accessibility with Lotus Symphony?
Hi,
I just read a German article on the fact that IBM is going to release
upcoming versions of Lotus Symphony with a code base of OpenOffice 3.x.
I can not imagine that they will give up any accessibility stuff they've
put in so far.
Does that mean that NVDA is going to be usable with OpenOffice via
Symphony?
Has anyone use this package with NVDA yet?
TIA, Roland
