Here is a small work around for blank items in the open with sub menu in
windows. Navigate to the open with sub menu, then arrow down to choose program
and press enter. If you first get a screen asking you whether you want to
search the internet for the best program or select from a list, choose select
fromm a list. Then a dialog box will pop up with a list of applications
available to open the file. Usually at the top of the list there is a
recommended program list. These are the entries that are usually the blank
entries you hear in the open with sub menu. You can either choose one of these
or browse through the list and see if there may be a better choice for your
needs. Hope this helps.
