Hey all.
In the snapshot version 1519 i found out that there is something wrong with
voices under sapi5 selection of synths. For example, if i set rate on the
voice which i want on 70 %, when i go to the voices menu and change to
another sapi5 voice, all the values are resset on the default settings. Rate
is set on 50, volume on 100 etc. I tested that with realspeak synths and
espeak and the results are the same. I know that in the previous versions
that bug didn't exist.
Another bug is related to documend and virtual buffers i suppose. I was able
to load 200 pages document in ms word and read it, but when i exited and
loaded outlook express, NVDA needed about 30 seconds to open simple
plaintext message, which didn't do before. i. It looks like that something
was still in the buffer and NVDA needed the time to unload the data from the
memory.
Also, if i have unsend messages in the outbox of outlook express, and i want
to exit the program, outlook gives me warning if i want to send the messages
or exit the application. When that happeneds i can hear windows warning
sound, but NVDA stopps responding and than i have to press yes or no to
finish the operation and send the messages or exit on the desktop. After
that when the operation is completed NVDA starts talking again. That is
happening on all the synthesizers including espeak, sapi4 and sapi5.
And now a few questions:
1. Is there the way how to get the info about the page where i'm positioned
in MS word when i read or write something?
2. Is there the way how to read incoming messages automatically in miranda?
I installed speak plugin and clist plugin for the blind which is configured
correctly, but the messages are not spoken automatically and i have to read
them by errow keys.?
