Hi Gene, all very good points. The thing is, IE 6 works perfectly with NVDA 0.6p on my computer. So, I'm guessing there is more to this than we think. However, it is nice to know that some of the code will be rewritten and may solve the problem after all. Thanks for the suggestion. These buffers are going to be completely rewritten at some point and in the past, it has been stated by NVDA developers that the old buffers work more poorly over time, being degraded by other changes made in NVDA. This may be such a case where a change has been made in NVDA that, though unintended, further degraded the buffer. Try using Internet Explorer and see if pages load into the buffer. If they don't, then you know the problem is that the buffer simply may not work at all now. If the page does load, then the problem is evidently something else.
