Hi, sorry, due to short available time, I haven't followed this thread.
I have read something now and I thing you want to mark the time you
spend in reading something, when you press control or some keystroke.
I thing that, at least for me, the time is not so usefull, since it can
deppends on reading speed, variable between synthesizers and book
contents. For instance, when I read epubs, frequently I stop to see
notes and so on, and even sometimes I read quickly or slowly depending
on the contents.
I use placeMarkers pressing control and setting the bookmark, that is,
it's like if it was included by pressing several keystrokes.
Sometimes I set a bookmark using specific search, that is, a text string
instead of a position.
I don't find the time quite useful.
Anyway, if user do, please send a pull request and we can discuss all this.

Hi, I just tested this ad on, and let me tell you! I am thoroughly impressed!
It's exactly what I've been looking for for years! Is there any way of allowing
it to give you say a spin box to set minutes such as 15, 30, 45 minutes and so
on? Or, maybe you could leave it as is and someone could just type in as many
minutes as they need. I also like the idea of being able to put your computer
into hibernation mode when speech is stopped. Thank you very much for even
thinking of this idea! Please do some work on it and make it available to
everyone in the community! I'm sure anyone else such as myself would love it!

threw this together in an hour one afternoon when I was sick of oversleeping
and waking up to nvda going nuts, so sorry this isn't easily documented yet,
now that I know there's interest I could expand it and send it through review
but it needs work before that.
