[NTA HRC] NTA Open August 10-12

Friends of NTA,
Sorry for the short notice, but our tennis tournament is only two weeks away and we need your help.
The Hampton Roads Chapter of the National Technical Association (NTA) provides professional development and networking opportunities for minority technical professionals. NTA also conducts programs to encourage and motivate youth to pursue technical careers. Founded in 1925, we are proud to be the nation's oldest minority professional technical association.
The NTA Tennis Open, now in its tenth year, is our primary fundraiser for our scholarship program. This year we awarded scholarships to Kristina Chapman and Alyssa Kent, both graduates of Hampton High School. Kristina will attend UVA and major in systems engineers; Alyssa will attend Norfolk State and major in biology.
This scholarship tennis tournament will be held this year on August 10 - 12th at the Hampton Tennis Center...see attached flyer.
We are asking you to become a tournament sponsor and help us reach our fundraising goals. Individual minimum sponsorships, "Friend of NTA" are available for $25.00 dollars. Your name will be on the T-shirt and you will receive one.
Businesses are asked to contribute at least $100 to have their logos displayed on the shirt.
We could also use some help that weekend registering players, distributing T-shirts, sweeping courts and lines, updating posted scores, selling drinks, etc. If you have a few hours to volunteer, please let me know, stop by the courts and watch some great tennis!
