Is anyone here at LaRC doing any biology-based work (i.e., biomedical,
biological, biometrics, bioinformatic, biochemical, etc) or anything in
smart structures for medical use.
My reason for asking is as follows ==> My son is looking for a place to
work this summer.
He is a funded LARSS-BRIDGE student, and he will be attending UVA in the
fall to study biomedical engineering. He previously worked (SHARP &
LARSS-BRIDGE) in organizations performing non-destructive evaluation and
sensing & optical measurements, both times working with optical fibers. He
is now looking for an assignment (this summer) in an organization that is
doing work that may/could have medical application or that is foundational
to what he might encounter in his pursuit of a biomedical engineering
degree. He is currently a senior at Hampton HS.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
