Finally got to see the comet this morning, I drove out to the farm to find the 
gate locked , went out the back gate in the end
and waited out the cloud for an hour  , Finally got a decent look right before 
dawn , very impressive ,  what do you reckon Glen 
10/12 degrees  of tail , I didn’t get to see it all  until  around 4.30.

Same here Glen, accept you can add a 4th morning (once I saw the first pic on 
Spaceweather) where there were clear patches but I got up about half an hour 
too late to spot the comet L

 

Shame the great display couldn’t be viewed from the discoverers home town … 
incidentally I understand Terry Lovejoy headed out west yesterday searching for 
clear skies. Really hope he found some!
