From the observation platform this afternoon: 28 tundra swans, 350 duck sp.
(mostly redhead and wigeon and scaup but they were >500 yards away in a long
raft out in the bay, just too far away for a solid identification) 4 bald
eagles, a few ring-billed gulls and tons of yellow-rumpled warblers.
Hundreds of Canada geese and a lone horned lark in the field north of Shiloh
school.Lots of bluebirds on the wires between the house and DM.
