Everything I have heard about it is good. I was about to spring for the
D300s, but it sounds like the D7000 is the way to go, and about $500
less.

The more I use it, the more I like it. I probably need to spend some
time calibrating the autofocus for each lens, but so far it's the best
camera I've used to date. I like it better than the 5D Mark II or even
the 1Ds Mark II. Although they both have their merits, the 1Ds Mark II
simply being it's built so tough. I can imagine I will really love the
D4 when I get one.
