Moshe Dayan found dead

Israeli newspapers this morning confirmed that the bullet-riddled body
of a man found in an area Zionists know as the Judean desert is that of
Jerusalem police detective, Chief-Supt. Moshe Dayan. 

The body was discovered by Bedouins near the Mar Saba Monastery lying
next to the dead man's motorcycle. He had apparently been shot from a
distance in a well-planned ambush. 
Last week a Palestinian group called "Atef Abayat's Men" said they had
killed Dayan although without a body no verification was possible. 
According to Palestinian sources, Dayan routinely tortured Palestinian
detainees at the Russian Lockup in Jerusalem. 

He lived in the illegal settlement of Ma'ali Adomim, built on
confiscated Palestinian land belonging to the Eizariya village.
