Resource of the Week
--------------------
by Shirl Kennedy, Deputy Editor

It's not news that Hispanics are the fastest growing minority group in
the U.S. Certainly, the business community has recognized this trend.
According to our Resource of the Week, "In the next decade, the U.S.
Hispanic market will be a $1.5 trillion market." Not surprisingly,
data about the Latino market is a hot commodity these days. Read on
and learn about a new site that supplies plenty of it.

Reference--Reviews
The May 2005 Edition of Peter's Digital Reference Shelf is Now Online
   This month Dr. J reviews:
New York Times Book Review Archive
"More than 16,000 free reviews from the newspaper that used to be
the most respected daily publication. While the book review section
has had its own share of criticism in recent years, its importance
in making or breaking a book has remained intact. The rich content
is easily browsable, but the search function could stand
   improvements."

   RedLightGreen
Glad to read that Dr. Jacso is also a big fan of this ResourceShelf
favorite. He writes, "I had already chosen this special union
catalog as one of my picks at its debut eight months ago. In the
meantime, it got larger, better and more appealing by virtue of its
streamlined design; smart and elegant solution for checking the
availability in your local library; and the ability to generate
bibliographies in Turabian, MLA, APA or Chicago style. It could be
even more appealing by including the number of libraries that hold
the books and offer this, as well as the number of editions, as sort
   criteria."
