On January 4, 2003, veteran law librarian and website publisher, editor
(LLRX.com) and author Sabrina I. Pacifici launched a free current awareness
monitoring website, beSpacific (http://www.bespacific.com). The site is
updated daily and offers a searchable archive of over 1,000 topical postings
on issues of interest to librarians, including, inter alia, privacy, the
Patriot Act, copyright, censorship, digital rights, state and federal
tech-related legislation, e-government, ID theft, and Freedom of Information.
Sabrina provides researchers with direct links to court opinions, federal,
state and local agency press releases, surveys, reports and government
documents that discuss breaking legal-tech news and issues that impact a
wide range of libraries and librarians.
Sabrina also provides a free HTML email update of her daily postings -
