Catalyst completed a study in January 2004 which connects corporate
performance with gender diversity. 353 Fortune 500 companies did significantly 
better
if they had more senior women in upper management.

technology issues.
IBM has an article on women in technology in their company, and how they have
contributed.
The University of Alabama has a collection of 4000 years of women in science.
The ACM has a committtee on women in computing.
The Association for Women in Computing has an excellent website with contacts
for women in computing.
IEEE has a committee on women in computing.
The University of Maryland has an excellent list of resources for
women-related web sites in science and technology.
