PSA contest on AIDS open to young TV producers
Young TV producers worldwide have until November 30 to submit public service
announcements for an international competition. The aim is to encourage the
production of PSAs that educate young people, especially girls and women,
about HIV and AIDS.
The Staying Alive competition is jointly organized by OneWorldTV and MTV
Networks. The TV spots should be 30 to 60 seconds long and focus on the
themes of AIDS and young women. Producers should be 15 to 25 years old.
The contest is part of MTV's international Staying Alive campaign. The
Staying Alive and OneWorldTV Web sites will feature the winning entry, which
may also appear on MTV.
