Cable's Leaders in Learning Awards will recognize and reward the most
creative people making a difference in the lives of children in K-12
education - in and out of school.  This new awards program is looking for
inventive, innovative classroom educators, administrators, community
leaders, policy makers or anyone else who has had a significant positive
impact on education.

In addition to a three day all-expense paid trip to Washington, DC,
winners receive a $3,000 prize (policymakers may select a charity to
receive the money) and the chance to be part of a community of innovators.

If you know a deserving candidate, make a nomination or encourage him or
her to apply at www.LeadersinLearningAwards.org, from now until January
31, 2005.
