Subject: [WWWEDU] Prof. Dev: This Week at Tapped In (May 2-8)
Join the Webheads TESOL/ESL/EFL/ELL community on Saturday for Writing
for Webheads (students) and Sunday for Webheads in Action (teachers).
Sunday's events also include Charles Merritt's School Administrator's
Forum on Ed Tech (Safe-T). Monday's Arts and Literacy discussion takes a
peek at the PBS website Art:21. Jeff Cooper's Science and Math
discussions on Tuesday will feature guest presenter Michael Hosking and
Using the Web to Deliver Math and Science Instruction. Donna Hendry's
TechClass is on Wednesday and there's a birthday party at this month's
ArtsSites! Tours of the many new features of Tapped In are scheduled for
a variety of time zones on most Tuesdays and Saturdays.

After School Online (ASO) is a forum for educators. The scheduled
events, designed for professional development, are open to everyone in
the Tapped In community and all guests. All Calendar events will be
held in the ASO room unless otherwise noted in the description. Featured

to bridge diverse subject areas through the study and appreciation of

arranging for more focused meetings of special issue discussions. This

* ArtsConnected Workshop - Art Across the Curriculum

This workshop utilizes both easy to understand computer technology and
the free resources of Art Collector and Artists Toolkit from the
Minneapolis Institute of Art and the Walker Art Center, to provide
teachers with additional educational tools for student skill development
and improvement. The material being presented has application for both
interdisciplinary learning and easily implemented standard assessment
