After School Online (ASO) is a forum for educators. The scheduled
events, designed for professional development, are open to everyone in
the Tapped In community and all guests.  All Calendar events will be
held in the TI After School Online (ASO) room unless otherwise noted in
the description. Featured Passageways in TI Reception has link to the
ASO and most other conference rooms. As always, please login to Tapped
In http://www.tappedin.org 10 minutes before the ASO event is scheduled
to begin to allow us to help you get where you need to be. Click on the

Join the Webheads community of TESOL/ESL/EFL/ELL teachers on Saturday
and Sunday. Monday gives you an opportunity to learn more about
publishing your work, get Board Certified, and save $$$! Tuesday's K-3
Resources and Middle Level Science provide an exciting hour in the Comfy
Conference Room. If you've ever thought about becoming a Tapped In
Helpdesk Volunteer, Wednesday is your opportunity to do so. Thursday's
popular Global Project Based Learning always has some noteworthy
discussions. Tours of the many new features of Tapped In are scheduled
for a variety of time zones on most Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Tapped In is starting 2004 with an international membership of over
10,000! Volunteers are needed to offer help to new members and guests
entering the TI community for the first time. If you are able to be at
the helpdesk for one hour a week, please join this Watercooler Confab in
the Comfy Conference Room to learn more about becoming a volunteer. If
you're already a volunteer, participate in one of these discussions to
learn more about the new features that have been added to Tapped In and
brush up on your helpdesk skills.

What is the effect of No Child Left Behind on the emerging concept of
Global Project-based Learning.  Can connecting students with students in
other countries not only help students improve basic skills in language
arts, math and science, but they develop strong social studies skills
necessary for living in an increasing complex world.  Come discuss this
