Subject: [WWWEDU] PROF DEV: This Week at Tapped In - December 7, 2003


After School Online (ASO) is a forum for educators. The scheduled
events, designed for professional development, are open to everyone in
the Tapped In community and all guests.  All Calendar events will be
held in the TI After School Online (ASO) room unless otherwise noted in
the description. Featured Passageways in TI2 Reception has a link to the
ASO. As always, please login to Tapped In http://ti2.sri.com 10 minutes
before the ASO event is scheduled to begin to allow us to help you get
where you need to be. Click on the URL below each event to read
descriptions of the individual topics.

Join the thriving Webheads community of TESOL/ESL/EFL/ELL teachers on
Saturday and Sunday. Sunday's School Administrators Forum on Ed Tech
(SAFE-T)with Charles Merritt is a 'must see' event for all
adminstrators! Sue Roseman's K-3+ Resources topic on Tuesday is Holiday
Sites. Wednesday brings the popular ArtsConnected with Kevan Nitsberg.
Kevan shows you a resource that helps you integrate the arts across the
curriculum. Join Michael Hutchison's Social Studies Forum on Wednesday
to see best practices on integrating technology into your Social Studies
classes. Sharpen up your electronic pencils for Thursday's AAMU Writing
Project WriteTalk and take advantage of the opportunity to share,
critique, analyze and discuss past, current and future writing projects.
You are invited to bring a sample of your writing for this group, led by
Sandra Shattuck. Jan Naher-Snowden and Marianne Handler lead the lively
Thursday Pre-Service Teachers Discussion group. Tours of the many new
features of Tapped In are scheduled for a variety of time zones on most
Tuesdays and Saturdays.
