Subject: [WWWEDU] New Web Tool from The Landmark Project

Greetings,

I am letting folks know about a new tool from The Landmark Project
called PiNet Library (Personal InterNet Library).  It's actually been
on my site for a few months but I just upgraded it pretty dramatically.

Features include:

o  Create and maintain your own library of web links using "web
shelves" to organize your links by subject, class period, units of
study, or other categories

o  Share "web shelves" with other educators for collaboration

o  Add new sites to your library with a linkbot you drag to your links
bar or personal tool bar

o  Spawn SLATEs (interactive WebQuest style student activities) from
your links library

o  Create interactive classroom web pages with links to your SLATEs or
web links from your library

Take a look, and if you have any ideas on how this can be improved,
please let me know.

PiNet is at:        http://pinetlibrary.com/

Later, all!
